November 7, 2006: A workshop took place in Ottawa, in tandem with the 2006 CAMA Conference, to identify IBA knowledge gaps and concerns.

May 19, 2006: UBC Mining Engineering hosted a two-day workshop (May 18 and 19) that focussed on negotiating IBAs. Contact Dawn Mills for further information.

May 15, 2006: The Canadian Institute of Mining hosted a one and a half day workshop (May 14 and 15) during their annual conference. The workshop focused on the negotiation and early implementation of the IBA signed between Attawapiskat First Nations and De Beers Canada for the Victor Project in Ontario. Notes from the workshop will be posted soon.

May 8, 2006: A practitioner's workshop took place on May 8, 2006, in Yellowknife, aimed at identifying research needs and methods for testing IBA effectiveness.
